I am glad to say that I want to venture into new things and get my hands on some blogging, so I decided to start writing blogs from today onward.
As it marks the start of a new month, I will start writing blogs on a weekly basis and will try to write about all my learnings and shortcomings of that week.
I hope these posts will provide readers with a meaningful glimpse into my world, and who knows, maybe they’ll inspire or resonate with you in some way. Here’s to starting this exciting new habit!
So, to begin with this week (i.e., the first week of December), quite a few things happened:
Re-read “The Diary of a Young Girl” by Anne Frank
Since the time I first read it as a young teenager, I always come back to it whenever I look for an escape.I would really suggest anyone who hasn’t read it to give it a try. It provides a little insight into the life of a young Jewish girl and offers a broader perspective on the oppression of Jews by Nazi Germans. It’s not only a historical masterpiece but also captures the life of a teenager very well.
Starting to write these blogs is also something I came up with while reading it.
Participated in “Turbo AI” held at “AKTU Tech Fest 2k24” and got 1st Position
There was a cultural and technical fest held by AKTU, Lucknow, and our college acted as the zonal center for it.My team had one more member, and we built a “Breast Tumor Detector” using Python libraries, mainly “scikit-learn,” and we used SVC (Support Vector Classifier) for the best accuracy on our model.
When the judges tested our model on the testing dataset, we got an accuracy of 92%, which was better than any other team present there.
Got my LeetCode November Badge
As I have been grinding LeetCode lately, with a streak of 60+ days, I got the November Badge in succession to my previous October Badge.
These badges really motivate me to not give up and work hard every day, which also helps develop my coding skills.
Tasks for upcoming week
Connect with recruiters via LinkedIn and cold DMs.
Read another book (maybe “the idiot” by Dostoevsky)
Continue with leetcode and start to develop a clean coding habbit and start using comments more often
:P write one of these blogs again (i will try)
